This is a true indoor GPS system. The light fixtures are used as GPS satellites to locate the device indoors. This means, that retailers like Walmart can install their own indoor GPS "satellites" to enable next-generation mobile experiences, indoors. Instead of installing 100's of little iBeacon devices inside stores and aisles, why not just embed them inside the fixtures you're already placing in your venue, the lights!
