We tried the Home Depot iPhone app and noticed the following prompt "Location Accuracy: Turning on Bluetooth will improve location accuracy." Looks like Home Depot has deployed iBeacons in its stores! Actually, we scanned for BLE beacons and found something! Email us for details! We haven't seen any "blue dot" for location positioning nor any in-store notifications yet.. Also, we confirmed with Apple that developers can customize this Location Accuracy pop-up notification. Our advise to Home Depot is to modify the text and say something like "Turn on your Bluetooth to improve your shopping experience. "
